Concentric Workholding Systems

It is not obvious to realize a reliable, really concentric clamp for symmetrical workpieces like shafts, pipes, tubes, or any other profiles. The ARLA Clamping System is such a concentric workholding system which has been designed to achieve best quality concerning the repeatable position of the workpiece centre. The workholding technology is based on a mechanical system which can be actuated in 3 different ways:

• manually (by a lever)

• pneumatically

• hydraulically

The clamping time is extremely short; the clamping forces are high so that even heavy-duty machining can be realized. The clamping jaws are changeable to be compatible with a high variety of workpiece sizes. See also ARLA's flexible endworking solutions which are demonstrated on a special site.
